The C.S. Lewis Retreat 2023 ~ REMEMBER THE SIGNS: Faith, Knowing, & The Real in The Silver Chair
Join us October 13-15, 2023 at Camp Allen, amid the piney woods near Houston, for the 70th anniversary of C.S. Lewis’s The Silver Chair.
Be inspired by C.S. Lewis scholars, pastors, and artists as they lead us through various spiritual insights found in this tale of Narnia, so that we might apply these lessons to our own spiritual journeys.
Enjoy a respite with friends, good food, laughter, and learning in a ‘Mere Christian’ community. Speakers and artists include Charlie Starr, Christin Lazo, Andrew Lazo, and Ad Deum Dance Company, with more to be announced.
Don’t miss this unique experience of faith, reason, and imagination in the company of friends!
This retreat is for readers, writers, and anyone who wants to further their Christian journey in the good company of friends, for ages high school to adult.
A variety of breakout sessions will be offered including a Readers of Lewis track and a Writers track. Breakout session leaders so far include Christin Lazo, Charlie Starr, Andrew Lazo, Jason Smith, Melanie Stiles, Lori Arnold, with more to be announced.
