The community is invited free of charge Friday, February 9, 7:30 pm, to a special evening for ALL Christians in the Clemens Theatre, Dock Mennonite Academy. Local authors and our faculty will be signing books. The keynote will address the timely topic, “Christians Are Hateful” – The Cultural Challenge for Today’s Christians. Why does our culture increasingly hear Christian beliefs as hate speech? How can we connect with people who are predisposed against us? The cultural challenge is great, but we can break through. Find out how in this important message by the author of The New Absolutes, Bill Watkins. In his 35-plus years in publishing, Bill has worked with such authors as Charles Swindoll, Josh McDowell, Norman Geisler, Leslie Vernick, and Mike Huckabee.
